I can't sit still:

I ran my first ultramarathon—a 50 mile overnight race in Texas, one year after running my first marathon, the 2024 TCS NYC Marathon. I'm honored to be running with Brooks Running this year and am currently training for Javelina Jundred (the 100k, not the 100mi...maybe next year).

Other extreme sports I've tried: skydiving, rafting, skiing, parkour, skateboarding, rappelling, mountain biking, snowmobiling, trapezing, sandboarding, bouldering, sailing, and more.

I read:

Every year I set out to read 50+ books. I'm currently reading Do No Harm: Stories of Life, Death, and Brain Surgery by Henry Marsh and recently read The Hot Zone by Richard Preston, Born to Run by Christopher McDougall, and The Address Book: What Street Addresses Reveal About Identity, Race, Wealth, and Power by Deirdre Mask.

Check out books I've read and want to read here.

I travel (and take pictures of it):

I've lived in New Jersey, Nevada, California, Washington, Oregon, and New York. I've visited 33/50 states, 26/193 countries, and 12/63 national parks.

I most recently took a solo trip to the Lofoten Islands in Norway just above the Arctic Circle.

Check out some pictures I’ve taken on my travels here.

I learn things:

Random things I'm learning right now:

- Naming every country in the world in 15 mins

- Underground utility mapping

- All about air traffic control systems

- How to sing better (strictly for karaoke purposes)
